EI/EIS Committee with DEC

In my role, I am dedicated to providing professional service to DEC-SPED, a division of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) that focuses on advancing policies, practices, and research to support young children with disabilities and their families. As part of this work, I co-lead and facilitate a Community of Practice centered on inclusion, social justice, and the well-being of all children. This involves fostering a collaborative space where professionals can engage in meaningful dialogue, share evidence-based practices, and build collective capacity to promote positive outcomes for all children and families. I also ensure that messages, resources, and tools are effectively communicated and accessible to all individuals who interact with early childhood intervention and early childhood services. By prioritizing clarity, cultural responsiveness, and inclusivity, I aim to empower stakeholders to implement practices that support the development and success of all children.
